Windsor Care at Bishop Spencer Place

Serving senior home health care needs

Windsor Care is a not-for-profit private-duty agency dedicated to serving the needs of the Bishop Spencer Place residents. Windsor Care can reduce the stress, cost and inconvenience of long-term senior health care. Clients are assisted with personal care and household tasks that enable them to stay in their apartments longer and in greater comfort than other choices offer.

Windsor Care provides the best private-duty and senior home health care possible in the Madison and Jefferson Apartments at Bishop Spencer Place. Windsor Care offers a more economical alternative to the rising costs of assisted living and long-term skilled nursing care.

Windsor Care also provides a variety of other services to Coventry Court and York Place. Windsor Care works together with the client, family, and physician to customize a plan that meets the specific needs of each resident. Windsor Care services are available and supervised 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

  • NURSING ASSESSMENT — The Windsor Care nurse meets with each client to define any special needs and establish a Care Plan.
  • SUPERVISION — Each client’s care and employee’s performance is monitored regularly.
  • CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANTS Skills and personalities are carefully matched to meet each client’s personal care needs.
  • HOMEMAKERS —Assistance with the tasks of daily living to provide help and peace of mind.

UNEXPECTED NEEDS — If you need care at a moment’s notice, emergency services are just a phone call away.

You deserve the best senior health care available. One way that Windsor Care ensures you’ll get the best is by carefully screening and selecting caregiver applicants. An in-depth orientation is conducted for our employees in the skills they require, and their performance is regularly monitored.

The Windsor Care screening process includes work references, criminal background checks, checking the State of Missouri Employee Disqualification List, verifying licenses or certification, and conducting drug screens and physicals. Employees must then comply with our agency policies, procedures and standards.

Staff competence is evaluated and monitored regularly. If additional skills are needed to meet clients’ needs, specific training is provided. Windsor Care protects clients and also values employees. Therefore, employees receive workers’ compensation and bonding insurance.
