Bishop Spencer Place is a not-for-profit, single-site, locally managed retirement community that is governed by an independent, freestanding, volunteer board of directors. These talented, dedicated individuals assist us in managing our financial resources in accordance with our mission, and help ensure that our community's long-standing values are reflected in our governance and management.

Meet Our Resident Council

Resident input and involvement is highly prized at Bishop Spencer Place. Our staff meets regularly with members of the Resident Council to gain their suggestions and input regarding dining options, programs, community enhancements and more. One resident serves on the board, and numerous residents serve on the various board committees.
